ecoDry Drum Dryer
The SWISS COMBI ecoDry is an indirectly heated drum dryer. Drying is done with superheated steam at atmospheric pressure.
Apple pomace from pectin production can be used as animal feed byafter drying.
The pectin production process produces depectinized apple pomace, which is dried into a feed.
With ecoDry technology, the otherwise typical formation of blue smoke (blue haze) as well as odor formation is avoided.
