Save the date: From 5 to 8 May 2024, we will be at the ESST-VDZ-Conference in the Hofburg in Vienna to present our drying solutions for the sugar industry.
Drying solutions for the sugar industry
Our drying solutions offer the sugar industry interesting opportunities to utilise the energy required as efficiently as possible, reduce the use of fossil fuels and cut plant emissions - and they work so quietly that we call them "silent dryers".
Energy efficiency & decarbonisation
The low-temperature dryer (LTD) is particularly suitable for utilising waste heat from the sugar factory (falling water, flue gases from the boiler or a high-temperature dryer, vapours...). The LTD can be operated as a pre-dryer or as a final dryer, thus reducing the load on or replacing an existing high-temperature dryer (HTD. This reduces the consumption of primary energy and thus automatically lowers CO2 emissions.
Reduction of further emissions
If waste heat from falling water is used to heat the low-temperature dryer LTD, the operation of cooling towers can also be reduced. This means that fewer emissions such as dust or ammonia are released into the air, which would be emitted into the ambient air during the evaporation of loaded water in cooling towers.
Production of fertilisers from fermentation residue
With our ecoFertiliser Factory, we have the possibility to produce organic fertilisers from the fermentation residues of biogas production. This offers biogas plant operators an interesting additional field of business.
By the way: We shamelessly utilise our advantage as a Swiss company and sweeten your conversation with our experts with the best that can be made from sugar - Swiss chocolate!
